Orian Barki is a documentary filmmaker. She grew up in Israel, where she started her work directing and editing films that were broadcasted on Israeli TV. She moved to NY where she is Currently based. Orian, Graduated from Hunter College with an MFA in films. Her recent documentary “Destiny” about bronx rapper Princess Nokia is available on Fader. Her documentary short “I See You” about teen sexting culture is available on Dazed. Barki is interested in coming of age stories and youth culture. Her style is raw and personal. She worked as a director and editor with Nowness, ID, NY Times, Adidas, Shell and more.
