Kim is driven by her curiosity and loves humans. Her love of ideas inspires and motivates her as a storyteller and filmmaker. She is driven to discover new and unexpected ways to creatively solve problems and translate those ideas to film or any medium that makes them meaningful.
She grew up in California where she completed Art Center’s Film Program. She took off to live in Europe for a stint before being adopted by New York City and eventually landing back in her LA roots. She directed in a team, jacobs&briere, with her husband Alain Briere initially before they decided to work independently. All of this happened while collaborating with agencies like TBWA, Publicis, Saatchi&Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Y&R, Amalgamated, Ogilvy. Some of it was recognized with awards from The One Show, Clios, Cannes Silver Lion, Telly and B.D.A. Gold. The best part of all of this were the people she met along the way and learning something from all of them.
Kim is passionate about all art, loves to swim in the ocean, can make a killer latte, is a closet hippy trying to make our world a better place, and a stanch backgammon player. She imagines a future collaborating with global brands creating ideas that have the power to impact humanity in a good way.
