Bridget’s exuberant, visual directing has been commissioned by brands including Alice + Olivia, Aritzia, Nordstrom and Shopbop. With a background in dance and choreography, Bridget’s work is full of movement and color. In addition to her extensive commercial and music video experience, her stunning AFI short film ‘OowieWanna’ has played at festivals around the world. Originally from Massachusetts, Bridget Palardy got her start creating videos for Nylon Magazine in New York City, where she had the opportunity to shoot inspiring women like Kim Gordon, Allison Mosshart and Betsey Johnson. Since then, she has directed commercials for Target, Google Glass, Alice + Olivia and Aritzia, and her music videos have been featured on MTV, UK MTV and screened at the LA Film Festival. Bridget’s narrative work has screened at numerous festivals including SXSW and Bend Film Festival. In 2011, she was selected to participate in AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, through which she directed the short film OowieWanna, an original musical starring Karen Black. Still touring festivals, OowieWanna has won Best Short at the Boston Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Festival, and Best Direction at the Etheria Film Festival. Most recently, Bridget participated in the Alliance of Women Director’s Television Shadowing Program on TNT’s Southland. Bridget is currently based in Los Angeles.
